Impossible. I just can't stand that word. Why? Because it's not true. Nothing in the world is impossible. Heck, don't take my word for it, just look to the greats of the world both alive and dead. They went against all odds despite what the beliefs of naysayers. We only believe something is impossible is because we have no faith that it can happen. But what happens when a person does believe that the impossible is possible? It gets done!
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were watching a special on will.i.am and throughout the show, he kept reiterating that everyone told him 'no'. Record labels didn't want to sign him, no one believed his music would be a success, and no one believed that he would make it in life. His response? When people told him "no", he interpreted it as "know", where he was reminded to know that he will be a success one way or another. Look where he is now-- on top. Wouldn't it have been easy for a kid from the projects living on welfare to say his dreams were impossible? The difference is that he didn't believe it was impossible and he kept pushing.
