For the Working Girl

Above is another look I put together for my FIDM Fashion Merchandise Marketing entrance project. Jazz it up at the office with a cute printed blouse or a bright colored blazer like this red one here. Metallic and shiny accessories add a lil' glam to your look without over doing it.

Look of the Day: Rolled Up & Polka-Dot

Lately in the Bay Area, we've been experiencing some amazing winter sunshine. Birds are chirping, strangers are smiling, and I'm the giddiest kid in the world. On Wednesday I had an appointment in the city so, I rolled up a pair of skinny jeans and navy blazer over a white tank and sp orted a lavender polka-dot scarf. I added a little bling with gold spiked ballet flats, rose gold watch, and purple heart studs and locket necklace. Just enough for a casual feel yet a tad bit dressed up for the meeting.

Mini Trip to the Botanical Garden

Every now and then I like to reconnect with nature in some way. Luckily for me, there's a botanical garden right next to my place in Oakland by Lake Merritt. It's a public garden filled with lots of flowers, trees, shrubs, veggie patches, waterfalls, ponds, bonsai trees and more. I had a free afternoon so, I packed my new Canon Rebel and tripod to take advantage of the sun and snap a few shots.
